Blue Dot Auctions is a full service auction gallery located in Northern Berkshire County, an area filled with fine and contemporary art and classic New England grace. Located only 10 minutes south of Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art in North Adams, and twenty minutes from the renowned Clark Institute, Blue Dot Auctions offers a compliment to the fine institutions of the area. The auction house specializes in fine antiques and art along with 20th century modern design.  Discovery/general auctions are held throughout the year.    Blue Dot prides itself on its warm and welcome service.  Everyone is encouraged and welcome to attend all Blue Dot auctions and events whether to learn, or to buy. 

Jonathon Ray, owner and auctioneer, grew up in Grand Rapids Michigan. He became involved in the antique and collectibles business at the age of eight when he began helping his grandmother host local estate sales. Before attending college, he was a advertising consultant for major furniture companies in the mid-west including Herman Miller, Steel Case, and Baker Furniture. After college, he opened a successful retail specialty fashion store in Grand Rapids. He sold the business in the late 90s and moved East.  Mr Ray settled in Adams, MA in 2001 and began providing estate and internet sale services to the Berkshires.  In 2004, Mr Ray expanded his business and created Blue Dot Auctions & Estates, a auction service that provided on-location auctions and sales.  The business continued to grow, and a gallery on Park St in Adams featuring antique collections and shows was opened in 2008.  Due to increasing demand for his skilled services, Mr Ray expanded the business again in 2009 to a 7000 sq ft gallery on Hoosac St in Adams, MA.   Blue Dot Auctions has established itself as a professional full service Auction Gallery in the Northern Berkshires.
